My life has crossed paths with this couple in so many wonderful ways. After years of hoping and praying for a baby, their dreams came true when Jackson was born. I am so grateful to have been able to capture not just Jackson but also Sarah and Brian as parents, too.

I am so excited to watch this little guy grow up.

I believe in fresh starts – which is what I’m taking today as I write this post on my newly designed blog & website.

Having recently had my own newborn, I’m reminded how fleeting the newborn phase is and how important it is to capture these moments because literally, in an instant, they are memories.

I met Megan, via twitter. She and I love the same Chicago news team, she has a wonderful attitude towards pregnancy and life and I just had to capture her pregnant. Little did we know that Benton would arrive early, just days after our shoot. *phew* That was a close one!

We went to one of my favorite spots, downtown Chesterton.
